BLM Phoenix Metro is now part of Build Love Advocacy Center!

Building an Equitable Future with Our Communities

Our advocacy arm—Black Lives Matter Phoenix Metro—advocates for equitable systems, resources, and justice for marginalized communities.

We build with our community members experiencing crisis. We work in solidarity with grassroots organizations to redefine safety and healing for our communities in Maricopa County.

Black Lives Matter Phoenix Metro

Black Lives Matter Phoenix Metro is a small Black, Queer, and Femme-led group in collaboration with BLM Grassroots*. Our work centers people within Black communities who are the most impacted.

Our Advocacy & Mutual Aid Work

We support our community from a lens of solidarity, not saviorship. We understand our liberations are bound together and we work with, not for, the community.

Seeking support through a difficult time?

Our Coalition Work

Marginalized communities deserve equitable access to clean air, water, land, healthcare, and healing resources.

We work in partnership with a wide network of local organizations and grassroots movements to advance environmental, reproductive, and healing justice.

All groups share a common mission to create safety, healing, and justice for BIPOC communities.

Black Mesa Resistance Camp

Led by Diné matriarchs and supported by a network of allies, Black Mesa Resistance Camp is committed to helping maintain the Diné ancestral ways of living on Hopi Partitioned Land.

Empower Alliance

This alliance of Black-led organizations fights for reproductive justice, advocates for equitable healthcare access, and supports individuals in marginalized communities to make informed choices about their bodies and futures with dignity.

Emerging Youth Movement

This coalition of community organizations is building pathways for Black and POC youth to avoid incarceration through human services rooted in restorative and transformative justice.
